Community Support Through School Pantries
Our friends at Tumwater Community Schools and Together! started pantries at Tumwater High School and Peter G. Schmidt Elementary. Each pantry provides much needed resources for children and families. They provide food, snacks, school supplies, hygiene products, and clothing for those needing a little help. Students and families can access the pantry anytime and without question.
When we became aware of their program, we immediately wanted to help. Our foundation supports their pantries by providing anything they need. We’ve provided cabinets for extra storage, food, clothing, hygiene products, and other needed items.
We value our relationship with Tumwater Community Schools and Together! and we look forward to continuing our work together. The hope is that we can find opportunities to provide support to other pantries in the Tumwater and Olympia School Districts in the future.
